"In an antique store in Powell, Ohio I found an old CDV by a Norristown, PA photographer. The writing on the back is very hard to read. I think it says:"

Still living at Georgetown, Ills. 1901
"I think this is the wife of George Hollaway who lived in Georgetown IL. But I don't know why it was taken in PA. There was also a photo of Frederick Dennison Lyon taken in PA. Perhaps they are brother and sister?"

I had in some old notes, this info regarding the above:
"Beckwith 1879, History of Verm. Co., IL."
page 522---lists Sophia Lyon now Mrs. Hollaway
page 539---lists: Capt. G.W. Hollaway born 22 Feb. 1823,
Berkeley Co., Virginia,
lived 12 years then moved to IL. with parents,
settled near Georgetown.
17 Jan 1855 married Miss Sophia Lyon, native of
MA.
However, I do not think there is a connection to my Lyon family at this time.
